Life Groups
“There is power in together!”
Be part of a Life Group (small group) this fall and experience the power of being together with other believers as we journey with Christ. New groups are starting this month as we kick off a six-week all-church campaign, “Crossroads,” a time of accelerated spiritual growth. A key component of the “Crossroads” series will be message-based small groups. Many groups will help us go deeper as we study the Sunday message in greater detail and will offer more effective ways to apply God’s truth in our lives. Fall Life Groups Lineup
Here’s a tentative lineup for groups beginning this month:
- Women’s Bible Study – “Breaking Free” video study by Beth Moore; hosted by Sharrie Hockman at her home on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m.
- Troost Area – hosted & led by Ben Van Tassel on Sundays at 6:00 p.m.; message-based group
- Garden Valley Group – hosted by Sherry Harmon and led by Larry Tompkins on Sundays at 6:00 p.m.; message-based group
- Melrose Area – hosted by Tom & Ruth Ellen McClendon on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.; topic to be determined
- Women’s Group – hosted and led by Jill Steele; meeting day to be determined; message-based group
- Men’s Bible Study – Tuesday mornings at Karen’s Coffee Cup at 6:00 a.m.; no host breakfast
- Littlebrook Group – hosted and led by Ed Bassett on Fridays at 7:00 p.m. at the Littlebrook Club House; “That the World May Know” video series
- Glide Area – hosted by Shawn & Teresa Kellim; Sunday or Monday (to be determined) at 6:30 p.m.; message-based group
- Hucrest Group – hosted by Dave & Linda Fickes and led by Pastor Steve Kufeldt on Sundays at 6:00 p.m.; sermon-based group
- Roseburg/Eastwood Area – hosted by Ken & Carolyn Kellim; to be determined
- Potential Newton Creek Group – to be determined
