Jon Nutter, Lead Pastor
Pastor Jon is a visionary leader and gifted communicator with 15 years of pastoral experience. He received his B.A. from Mid-America Christian University in 1994 and his M.A. in Communication Arts from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004.
Steve Kufeldt, Associate Pastor
Pastor Steve joined the Hucrest staff as Associate Pastor in June of 2007. Having served as a senior pastor for 12 of his 21 years of full-time ministry, Steve enjoys the change of pace his new assignment offers and is excited to live in the Pacific Northwest. He oversees community life ministries of our church, helping people get connected to God and to one another, primarily through small groups. A fourth-generation minister, Steve is a native Floridian and enjoys golf, reading, woodworking and, alas, is an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He has undergrad and graduate degrees from Anderson University. He is married to Cindy and they have two teenagers, Seth and Abby.
Kyle Hazen, Pastor to Students
Pastor Kyle has recently joined our staff. He graduated from Anderson University in 2003 and a 2008 graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary. Most recently, he served on the youth ministry staff at Armstrong Chapel UMC in Cincinnati.
Larry Brown, Minister of Music
Pastor Larry has led music at Hucrest since 1983. A recently retired public school music teacher, he truly enjoys leading worship and directing choir and instrumental groups. He desires to lead people to a deeper level of worship and to impact those outside the church with musical outreach events.
